The Salado Public Library is located at1151 N. Main St. Salado, Texas.  The  Library provides free services to all residents living within the Salado Public Library District boundaries and surrounding communities.

The library system holds over 19,653 materials including over 14,646 books, and 1,037 compact discs, cassette tapes and books on cassette and 1879 downloadable audio books.  Over 1,950 adult and children's movies are also now available for check-out.

In total, over 35,000 items were checked out of the system during fiscal year 2006-2007!  In addition to these items, thousands of people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the Library’s cable modem connection, enjoy state-of-the-art wireless service, participate in computer and Internet training, view a Library exhibit, or attend one of the Library’s many events.
